Hi, we’re Star & Austin.
We got the idea to host while we were guests ourselves. We’ve traveled all over the world, and some of our favorite stays have been in people’s homes. We like being able to walk out the front door, find a neighborhood coffee shop, and ask someone who lives there, “Where would you go for dinner?”
How we got our start
Virginia Beach is one of the places we call home, so we decided to give hosting a try. Our first guests stayed downstairs in the house we were living in. Later, when we bought our townhome in the ViBe District, we made the first floor its own guest space and lived upstairs. Today, guests have all three floors to themselves. If you’ve wondered why the downstairs queen room has its own kitchenette, that’s the story behind it.

And if you ask us for our Virginia Beach favorites, we’ll send you to Three Ships on 19th Street for coffee and Barrel 17 for a burger. Our favorite time to be at the ocean is dawn. Some mornings we walk the boardwalk. Other mornings we grab our boards and head down to First Street to surf.
